The EV in Revolution was highlighted in this year’s edition of the Canadian International AutoShow at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre running in late February to brighten the hearts of all auto enthusiasts. Surprise guest Top Gear’s Richard Hammond drove in with the EV Rimac Nevera Supercar to preface the intro of the AJAC’s Car of the Year Awards, swept this year by Toyota with its Prius and Highlander, and Genesis with its EV winners. In addition to the intro of new vehicles by Tesla, with its Cybertruck, Rivian, Porsche, Volvo, Infiniti, Genesis, Hyundai, Kia, among others, exotic cars abounded in Autostrada’s Auto Exotica, Grand Touring’s 50th Anniversary Exhibit, with the famous design house Pininfarina’s EV supercar Battista, Ferrari’s Classiche Exhibit, Porsche’s 75th Anniversary Display, and Pfaff’s Pagani-dominated showroom. Hot Wheels presented Barbie’s Corvette to the delight of Barbie fans. Test drives of EVs were again prominent this year along with the exciting Camp Jeep rides.
