Las Vegas F1 Week is an amazing experience, blending the F1 race with its top drivers and race cars in the world, with the glitz and glamour of the gambling mecca of the world with its multitude of resorts, casinos, luxury goods and replicas of famous locales such as Rome, Venice, Egypt, Paris and New York.  For F1 fans from around the world, world-class entertainment such as Cirque du Soleil’s O and top DJs such as Martin Garrix and Marshmello, it is a match made in heaven, when the F1 race competes with top entertainers.  Las Vegas, the so-called capital of sin, lived up to its reputation with the young upscale crowd being entertained on the F1 track and off.  Rare exotic cars such the multimillion dollar Konigsegg Vader, McLaren P1, and the new Pagani Imola, in addition to many F1 cars were on display to entice the car buff.

With hospitality from the best chefs and the generosity of the sponsors such as the Ferrari Club of America, delicious dishes, caviar, champagne and single malt scotch whisky were available to those lucky enough to obtain reservations and/or be members of the exotic car clubs. McLaren, this year’s eventual Constructors Champion, led the way with several displays of its F1 cars and drivers, Norris and Piastri.  Puma, along with Ferrari, presented former F1 driver, David Coulthard, 2-time Monaco Grand Prix winner, in a talk in the Strip’s Nordstrom. 2023 F1 Academy winner, Marta Garcia was available for autographed photos and photos with racing fans.  Eventual 2024 F1 Driver Champion Red Bull’s Max Vestappen won the Championship despite finishing 5th in this year’s Las Vegas Formula 1 race, with AMG Mercedes driver, George Russell winning, and his team mate Lewis Hamilton coming in second.  Ferrari drivers, Carl Sainz, and Charles Leclerc, came 3rd and 4th, respectively, to eventually lead Ferrari to second place in the F1 Constructors Championship.  With Red Bull’s Max Vestappen’s dominance in F1 waning, the 2025 Formula 1 season shapes up to be a very exciting season, especially for new F1 fans inspired by dramatic Netflix’s Drive to Survive series’ success.
